:: WHAT DO I GET?
A kit to complete this beautiful design.
US Letter size stick and stitch patch that can be cut to suit your project.
Crewel needle – size 5
White DMC Embroidery floss
WHAT DO I NEED?
Scissors
Water (to rinse away when completed)
:: HOW DO I USE THIS?
On the stick and stitch sheet is a large rose and a half rose.
– CUT them out – leaving about 1/2cm, 1/4″ around the edge of the roses.
– PLACEMENT You can use this to place anywhere on your garment – place them, step back and take a look, move it until you are happy with the placement.
– STICK Peel and stick, stroking it flat. The patch can be lifted and restuck (don’t do it too many times as it will lose it’s stickiness.)
– STITCH In the photos, on the edges of the petals we stitched with 6 strands of embroidery floss, doing all the outlines first. Then with 3 strands of embroidery floss we filled in the all the texture on the petals.
(If you stitch it all 3 strands or 6 strands it will still look lovely. )
– RINSE In a bowl of cool water or under a running tap, gently and swiftly rub the product away to avoid staining. Don’t leave it to soak.
