Sashiko Flower Embroidery :: Stick and Stitch 

Wild flowers sashiko embroidery is made so easy with this stick and stitch patches.  Clustered beautfully they can be used as a panel (perfect size for canvas shoes) or cut up into smaller clusters of flowers. 

Super for embelishing adults and children’s clothes.  Make two different outfits into an understated mummy and me matching set by embroidering both garments.

Fab on t-shirts, dresses (neckline, waistline, sleeves, hemline), canvas bags, book covers, glasses case, lavender pillow, cushion cover, socks, slippers…. oh my, the list of ideas is a large as your imagination.

How many patches will I need?

One pack of patches is four triangle clusters of flowers. Half US letter size together.

  • Enough for four sides of adult canvas shoes
  • Two sides of canvas shoes plus a garment
  • Two sides of canvas shoes adult and child and a couple of flowers on a T-shirt

To make, you will need: 

  • The item/s to embroider
  • Needle with a large eye (Crewel #5)
  • Embroidery floss // Sashiko thread medium
  • Scissors
  • Water
